The "Pride of the Oil Patch" band had a substantial day in Plainview on Saturday, October 12, in the Pioneer Marching Festival. SHS marched away with awards for Outstanding Class 2A Band and Outstanding 2A Color Guard! These industrious students have rehearsed incredibly well, and now the band can assemble for the UIL Contest this Saturday, October 26, in Lubbock at Lowery Field at 6:15pm.
