On Monday October 14, the JV Girls team won District in Cross Country. The JV Boys scored a perfect score of 15, and came in 1st place to take the championship. Carlos Perez, came in 1st for SHS with a time of 19:57, and following in 2nd place, Aidon Olivas finished with a time of 20:08. Next, following in 3rd was Nick DeLaCerda with a time of 20:28, then David DeLaCerda crossed the line in 4th with a time of 21:01. Mathias Salgado finished in 5th with a time of 21:27, and Mathayus McGlasson followed in 6th with a time of 23:39. Nick Hart finished in 8th with a time of 24:11:00, followed by Grayson Richardson in 10th. Great job to those boys for bringing home the trophy!
The JV girls went 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places. Although they didn’t have quite enough players to make a team, they sure did compete well as individuals. The JV Girls first runner, Natalie Urias, placed 1st with a time of 15:15. Ryann Quintanilla followed in 2nd with a time of 15:21, and next was Karigen Graza in 3rd with a time of 15:25. Alyssa Russull finished in 4th with a time of 16:05. Awesome work ladies!
