Sandra Hernandez is one of Sundown’s newest employees. She grew up not too far from Sundown in Tahoka. Her favorite thing about Sundown so far is the people are very friendly. Her job for the school is working in the cafeteria. She works very hard with her team to provide us with two meals a day for five days of the week. Especially when the pandemic began, the cafeteria ladies were an integral part of supplying meals to students as remote learning started.
Some of her favorite hobbies include baking of any kind and reading very long books. Mrs. Hernandez has family, kids, and pets. Her favorite quote is “ Team Work Makes Dream Work” and her favorite movie is "The Lord of the Rings." She says that her favorite food is EVERYTHING!!!! We are blessed she is a part of our Roughneck family.
