7th Grade B team
On Monday February 1, 2021, the 7th grade B team fought a hard game against Sudan, but came out on top. Our boys came out strong with a total of nine points in the first half, holding Sudan to two points. Moving into the second half, the 7th grade boys kept up the energy and came out with an awesome win for them, with the final score Sundown-19 and Sudan-4. Lastly, shout out to the top scoring players for the night, Augustine Ortega with eight points, and Nathan McAdams with seven points. Great job Sundown!!
7th Grade A Team
Our very own 7th grade A team took on Sudan on Monday, February 1, 2021, to face off against the Hornets. The boys came off the bus ready, stepping on the court and putting up eleven points by the end of the first quarter holding Sudan to four points. They kept up the drive, scoring eight points, but Sudan wasn't going to give up that easy scoring a total of six points leaving the score 19-10 at the end of the second quarter. The 7th grade boys finished up the game strong with a solid win against Sudan, leaving the court with the board saying 39 Sundown-17 Sudan. And we can't forget about the top scoring players of the night, Marcus Soliz with a whopping 16 points, as well as Braiden Lara having six points! Great job to our 7th grade A team, and congratulations on the outstanding win!!
