Senior Spotlight - Brayden Sanders

Brayden Sanders has always been a Roughneck, starting his time in the 3-year old program. His favorite memory from middle school is playing football on the playground, and his favorite memory from middle school is chilling with the coaches on the bus after a track meet. The memories of winning State Cross Country are his favorite memories from high school. Brayden is a proud member of the XC team, which has been to state every year since his freshman year. He is also a member of the football team that made it to the Regional Quarterfinal round. His favorite class was his first period class with Mrs. Gattis and his role models are Isaac Hernandez, Rock Thoms, and Steven Quintanilla. Brayden plans to become a civil engineer and has a slew of college choices including, ACU, UIW, TTU, and UTPB. A quote Brayden strives to live by is, “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail,” by Confucius. His advice to underclassmen is to enjoy every practice, game, and memory, for your time in high school is not but a mist in time. Congrats Brayden on your upcoming graduation.
