Senior Spotlight - Katie Sehon

Upon graduation in May, Katie Sehon plans to study Forensic Science at SPC in Levelland. Her Junior year she broke a regional powerlifting record in addition to placing 4th at the state powerlifting meet. Katy was in the band for 5 years and advanced to state every year they had the opportunity. She became a part of the Roughneck family in the 3-year-old program, while her favorite elementary memory was when Mrs. Box tied up her hair with a rubber band. During middle school she remembered breaking Coach Legan’s desk after he broke it first. Her favorite high school memory was when Max slammed himself against the lockers after school. Forensics was her favorite class of all. Katie has great support from her family, who also serve as her role models."Focus on class and keep your head up,” she quoted as advice to the underclassmen. Katie was inspired throughout school with a quote that states,”When you want to give up remember why you started.” Best of luck to Katie and the Class of 2021.
