The 8th grade football team played a very tough game against the New Deal Lions. The Roughnecks put up a very good fight to keep them in the game, but it just wasn’t enough to hold the Lions off. “It was a hard fought game, ultimately we didn’t come out with win like we wanted,” said Coach Robinson. “We definitely gave it our all and left it all out on the field for the last game of the season, and that's all you can ask for,” Coach Robinson stated. Overall the Roughnecks had a great game. The Roughnecks finished out the season going 6-2 to wrap it up.
