On Saturday the 25th, the Roughnecks traveled to Abernathy. They had an excellent start to their powerlifting season. The girls team placed 2nd overall, and the boys team placed 3rd overall. Out of the 26 kids that went to the first meet, 12 placed. The energy in the gym awesome; everyone was pumped up and ready to get their lift. Most all of the lifters left the meet with a new PR (personal record). Congrats to everyone that went to the meet and took care of business! The next meet is Thursday, January 30th at Tahoka for both teams. GOOD LUCK SHS!
