Kaitlyn Garcia joined the class of 2021 her 7th grade year. Her favorite high school memory was when she got to cheer with her friends during the football season. Kaitlyn competed at the state level in debate both her freshman and sophomore year. She was also a cheerleader her senior year in high school. Mr. Rich’s welding class was her favorite high school class. In the future, she plans to attend Texas Tech University and become a veterinarian. One of her favorite quotes is by the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, “Even miracles take a little time.” Shanna Richardson served as Kaitlyn's role model while attending SHS. The advice she has for the underclassmen is not to get on their phone after the 7:30am bell in the mornings. Best of luck in the future, Kaitlyn.
