Last week the Roughette Basketball team took time to stop by trophy case by the front entrance of the gym. It was not a discussion about trophies, but instead about all Roughettes PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE. These ladies wearing a uniform NOW represent ALL who have worn it before them. That is a huge responsibility & the coaches do not take that lightly.

Some of these ladies were members of the PAST State Championship teams for SHS in 1961-62-63. Others wore a Roughette uniform at one time or another, or even played college basketball. It was awesome to see them in the stands Tuesday nite cheering on our PRESENT Roughettes in a playoff win over Post.
