2022 Senior Spotlight - Ryann Quintanilla

Ryann Quintanilla has been a Sundown Roughette since the three year old program. Ryann has made numerous memories throughout her time here at Sundown. Naming just one out of many, her favorite memory from elementary school was when she received prizes and candy in Mrs. Beaver’s class. The memories did not stop there, however. She had so many more in junior high  like going to Joyland and whenever she graduates in May will be her favorite memory of all in high school.

One huge accomplishment for Ryann is going to state in cross country and winning a championship. She advanced to state twice with her team, but won a gold medal one time. Ryann’s favorite class in high school was culinary arts with Mrs. Greenhaw. She plans to further her education at Angelo State and she would like to study business.

A favorite quote for Ryann is, “The best preparation for the future is to live as if there were none.” by Albert Einstein. Ryann’s sister has served as a role model in her life and has pointed her in the right direction to succeed. Some advice Ryann has for underclassmen is to enjoy life in high school because it goes by so fast and to make sure to get involved in as many extracurricular activities as possible. Good luck to Ryann and the Class of 2022!
