Attention Sundown supporters of 5th, 6th, & 7th grade band students:
Thursday, April 21st is the annual Abernathy Band Festival. Band members need to be at school, dressed in nice clothes, ready to take their instruments to the buses at 7:30am. Lunch is provided at Main Event in Lubbock to celebrate their accomplishments this year. Members will return to school no later than 3:45pm for dismissal.
6th grade performs first at 9:30am with 7th grade at 10:40am and 5th grade at 11:40am. (There were slight schedule changes this week in performance times.) All performances are in the Abernathy Auditorium with free admission. Come support these students as they show off their hard work!

We will now play Baseball @ Morton at 5 PM on Friday (Varsity Only). The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but a change has been made to a Friday game.

The boys regional tournament has come to an end. What a great experience for this really young team. They will be headed home shortly. The girls are in Canyon and will begin their tournament in the morning. Good luck girls!
It’s cold and windy in Canyon, but all the boys are off the #10 tee box and round 2 of Regionals is underway.

Bake Sale on Monday, April 25th
Several organizations are working together to raise funds for the De Los Santos family who lost their house in a fire over the holiday weekend. The Senior Class is organizing a meal for next Monday evening. We are taking orders from now until Thursday evening. Meal will be pulled pork, beans, potato salad, bread and water. I need your help. I need 5 photos of your student(s) for Senior collages NO LATER than Wednesday, April 20th. They can be senior photos, photos of your athlete, casual photos with family, etc. These collages will be displayed at the Athletic Awards Ceremony.
You can email me high resolution digital files or send pictures for me to scan. If you send me pictures to scan, please write your student's first and last name on the back so that I may return them.
