HS Apollo students are attending the Oklahoma City Thunder vs Sacramento Kings NBA game tonight! Our HS Principal, Mr. Griffith, even made it on the court pre-game to participate in the Free Throw Contest! He managed to pull off a victory, $100 richer, and advance to the half-court shot worth $20K!!! He had the support of the best cheering section from Mrs. Bufe and the HS Apollo students, and came up just shy of hitting the big one! He managed to hit the backboard and was awarded another $100 for his attempt! We also had students Grayson Drake, Johnny Acevedo and Robert Soliz treated to court side seats, along with Mr. Griffith! After the game, SHS students were invited out onto the court for a group picture with the mascot! What a great experience for our students! SHS is the BEST!
We are SUNDOWN SMART!
We have SUNDOWN HEART!
We are SUNDOWN STRONG!

Time for Softball!!!
Seagraves @ Sundown
Good Luck to our Sundown Roughettes as they battle the Eagles from Seagraves!

Day 1 of the research trip started off at the Break Out games.
All 3 of our groups worked together and escaped their room!
We then spent some time at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
The highlight of the day was the time we spent at the City Rescue Mission. One of our students has spent the year researching non-profit and volunteer organizations so we saw it fitting to experience volunteering firsthand. At the City Rescue Mission, we served about 150 homeless men, women, and children their evening meal. We were also blessed to spend some time visiting with KK, the Mission’s kitchen manager. KK was once a client of the Mission and has now gone on to be employed by the Mission. She shared with us her inspirational testimony and powerful words of wisdom. We were so blessed by this experience.
