UIL Realignment: Football and Basketball for next year
Coach Legan’s 8th Grade Social Studies class had an opportunity to “clean cotton”! They learned about an American Inventor, Eli Whitney, who was responsible for 2 important inventions during the Industrial Revolution the cotton gin (cotton “engine”), and interchangeable parts. Grateful to Mrs. Bobbie Terry and Terry Farms for donating the cotton. Students worked for 10 minutes cleaning the cotton and collectively came out with enough cotton to make… a sock… for a toddler!
