Today, 24 Sundown Middle School students traveled to Shallowater to audition for the Region 16 A/AA Middle School Bands. We are SUPER proud of each student who has prepared and put in much time and effort into this audition…each individual certainly got better in the process, and so our Roughneck Band program grew that much stronger!

Also, EJ Moody was 1st alternate on the flute, Riley Scifres was 2nd alternate on the Horn, and Jaxon Reynolds was 3rd alternate on the Baritone!
This is a huge accomplishment for these students, and their willingness to go the extra mile is to be commended!

Roughettes beat Levelland 50-38! Great job ladies! They get a short break and play again at 8:00 against Portales.
Varsity boys defeated Midland Trinity 59-43! Great job boys! They play Denver City at 8:00. The varsity girls just tipped off against Levelland.
