GAME DAY PARADE!!
The Game Day Parade will begin at 3:10pm Friday. For Twitter followers, more information regarding the parade is on the website and facebook.
GAME DAY PARADE!!
Tomorrow’s pep rally will be an outdoor parade around all SISD campuses. The parade will include band, football, and cheerleader members marching down the center of the street starting at the elementary school and ending at the middle school. We ask that parents watch the parade and support the kids from across the street of the school. All SISD students not involved in the parade will observe and support the parade members while standing on school property and not across the street of the school.
There will be a short video made available to the general public after 1pm tomorrow. The video will include a cheer by the cheerleaders, an introduction of each player, and a talk by Coach Cummings. The link will be shared online. Go Roughnecks!!
Reminder: Tickets will not be sold at the gate for Friday night's game against Muleshoe. Presale tickets are available in the SISD Business Office until Friday at 4:00 p.m.
Middle School & High School Students: Remember to return your Chromebook contracts. You will not be issued a computer until those are returned. Dual credit students, this is especially important for you since SPC classes start tomorrow.
Roughneck and Roughette fans:
Our annual Meet the Roughnecks will be this Friday night, 8/21 after the football scrimmage vs. Plains. One adjustment to this year's event is that it will be a High School only Meet the Roughnecks. Our Middle School Meet the Roughnecks will take place on Thursday, 9/17 after the 7th and 8th Grade football games vs. Stanton. This is to ensure the 50% capacity of our stadium rule by the UIL. More information regarding the stadium regulations, such as face coverings and social distancing will come out later this afternoon. Look forward to seeing everyone there! Go Roughnecks and Roughettes!!!
Great start at SHS! It was so good to see all the kids! Even with the changes in place for this year the kids made it a great day! Go Roughnecks and Roughettes!
