Roughette basketball coming soon to a gymnasium near you!

Supermen and Superwomen at Sundown
We are truly blessed with some of the most dedicated and multi-talented student-athletes at Sundown High School!
Every one of our 14 Varsity Cross Country runners who competed today at Mae Simmons gives their all, from sunrise to Sundown. Whether it’s early morning runs, full days in the classroom, football or cheer practice after school, or band rehearsals and games under the lights, they represent what it means to be a Roughneck and a Roughette through and through.
We want to take a moment to celebrate these incredible students who pour their hearts into so many programs and embody the true spirit of Sundown! A huge thank-you to Coach Dakotah Watson and Coach April Berry for leading with heart, and to Band Director Justin Mauldin, Athletic Director Brannon Rodgers, Girls Coordinator Jared Neighbors, and Cheer Coaches Sarah Goodman and Jaime Posadas for working together so selflessly.
Our kids succeed not just because of their talent, but because they are surrounded by adults who believe in them, share them, and support them in every endeavor. From sunrise practices to Sundown performances… we couldn’t be more proud!
