On Tuesday, December 3rd, the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test will be made available to any 10th, 11th, or 12th grader that would like to take it. Students must see Ms. Majors in order to sign up for the test.
Elementary celebrated Character Counts this morning with fifth grade performing a respect skit, South Plains College goodie bag drawings and Jumping for George.

Yesterday, the Regional 1 Congressional Debate Meet took place in Lubbock. Bridget Reyes placed 7th. Avery Avery placed 5th and is the Second State Alternate. Courtney Black earned the Bronze Medal and will compete at State Congress in January. In keeping with the winning tradition, Sundown High School has represented Region 1 at State every year that Congress has been a UIL sanctioned event.Congratulations to Mrs. Nichols & these SHS students!
