Yesterday the TASSP (Texas Association of Secondary School Principals) announced, after reviewing letters of recommendations, interviewing candidates, and hearing the story of multiple Texas MS principals, that soon to be Dr. Miguel Salazar is their organization’s Texas MS Principal of the Year (POY)!! What a great honor! Congratulations Mr. Salazar! And, congratulations to the students and staff on the MS campus. With Mr. Salazar's strong leadership, together students and staff have created a learning environment and a story to tell that is unique, special and one deserving of such a recognition! Again, congratulations to Sundown Middle School and Mr. Salazar!
