Roughneck football season begins tonight with our 1st scrimmage of the year against Ralls at 6:00. The seniors will have a limited concession stand available, show up, watch the boys and spend a little money to help the seniors get started towards their trip to Florida!

Meet The Roughnecks will be held inside the game gym. We are currently in a lightning delay with strikes inside 10 miles. By UIL rules we can't have kids outside during a delay. We will start at 6:30 p.m. as scheduled.

We are pleased to announce that Sundown Independent School District will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2026–2027 school year.
As a CEP district, all enrolled students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost throughout the school year.
