Last year, the schools represented here this evening experienced unthinkable loss. The love and compassion of the Dalhart and Sundown communities has shone brightly through the character and resolve of our students as they have ministered to one another. Tonight, during halftime, the combined Dalhart Golden Wolf Band and Sundown Roughneck Band honored the lives of Dalhart students Yahir Cancino, Preston Ralston, and Eric Ruiz, and Kennedi Diaz from Sundown.
