Centrifugal Force with Coach Igo on the Sundown Roughnecks Facebook& Instagram Page!
6th Grade Science students learned that centrifugal force is a force enacting on an object in a circular motion directed towards its axis of curvature. They were treated to a science lab putting that force into action and seeing it on full display! Students were amazed at how Coach Igo could get it to work... and laughed as none of their classmates could quite make it work! Happy to report that nobody was injured during this engaging lesson in science class! I LOVE SCIENCE!!! Thanks Coach for making learning fun!

Great effort by the boys and the band was awesome at halftime.
Everyone is 0-0 as non-district play comes to an end. They start counting when the Roughnecks take the field again in 2 weeks against Floydada.
After 3 quarters Roosevelt leads 26-13.
At the half and it's Roosevelt 20 Sundown 13.
Caleb Clausen would not be denied on a 27 yard TD run!!! XP was no good. 14-13 Roosevelt with 6:14 left in the half.
