
A lot of great things taking place at Sundown ISD! One of those things is the new floor installation at the New Facility. Lots of progress this week!





Varsity girls beat Muleshoe for the 2nd time this season. This time 43-32. They play Farwell tonight at 7:40 This game will determine what time they play tomorrow.

At the half the varsity girls trail Muleshoe 24-23.

Varsity Boys lost 74-51 to Hale Center. They play again tomorrow at 10:30 in Farwell.

JVB get win over Springlake-Earth 41-17! Last game tomorrow morning at 9:45 vs New Deal.


Day 5: Christmas Accessories Day was a hit… we were even graced with Santa’s presence! 8th Grade hanging on to the lead!





JVG over Highland Park 35-16. They play Nazareth tomorrow at 1:30.

Sundown MS is currently collecting items for gift baskets that we will deliver to some of our elderly community members next Friday! Middle School Parents, we sent home a letter with students on Wednesday of this week, but if you missed it, here is what the letter consisted of:


V B lose in a hard fought game 47-57.

V B down 34-43 after three Qs of play.

JV Boys come up short 30-40 vs Olton and will play Springlake-Earth at 12:15 tomorrow in the Olton Tournament.


V B down 23-29 at half. The boys are playing hard and hanging tough with a lot taller bunch of kids.

V B are playing Muleshoe and trail 10-14 after a Q of play.

V G defeat Hale Center 62-43.

V G playing Hale Center and up 48-34 after 3 Qs of play.

JVG win 29-23 over Olton. They are set to play Highland Park tomorrow at 11 AM here at the Olton Tournament.

Day 4 continues to prove itself worthy as Sundown Middle School students light up our classrooms and hallways!




Christmas Luncheon on December 15th will be for students only.
Unfortunately, with the supplies we currently have in stock, we are only able to serve students on December 15th during our scheduled Christmas Luncheon.

Sundown MS 7th graders had a “questionably” strong showing today in clash of the carolers where the the 8th graders wore red, 7th graders wore green, and 6th graders wore white.
