Sometimes school is about more than learning the normal stuff. This morning Becky Paiz is teaching a couple of teachers and students how to make tortillas! They are using ratios and such, so there is some “school” stuff involved. But let’s be honest, learning to make tortillas is a lifelong skill!!

Braiden Lara sets the Roughneck JV with great field position with a 38 yard punt return. On the next play Coen Nevarez hits Rayden Flores with a 9 yard TD pass. Coen hit Hayden Powell for the conversion. 16-0 Sundown leads with 5:38 left in the 1st quarter.
A TD run of 22 yards by Braden Lara and a 2 point conversion run by Trevor Bridges puts the Roughneck JV up 8-0 over Floydada with 7:49 left in the first quarter.
