Sundown Middle School Voices of Gratitude 2025

This year, Sundown Middle School is proud to introduce a new tradition focused on gratitude and connection. In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, we invited our students and staff to step up to a microphone and finish the sentence: “One person I am thankful for at SMS...” Using an iPad, we captured their heartfelt reflections, sincere words, and meaningful shout-outs.

This project was created to highlight the power of gratitude within our school community and to remind us all of the people who make Sundown Middle School a special place. The voices shared in this video reflect the spirit of unity, appreciation, and kindness that define The Sundown Way.

We are excited to share this compilation with our Roughneck family on Thanksgiving Day. May it uplift your heart and serve as a reminder of the many blessings we have, both big and small.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Sundown Middle School!
