Here is the track meet information for the upcoming Sudan Track meets, which will be held on Thursday (MS-Mar 27) and Friday (HS-Mar 28).

We extend our sincere best wishes to Sundown High School's Jesus Rodriguez and Jeremiah Reyes, who have qualified for the THSPA State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene this weekend. Senior Jesus Rodriguez earned the title of Region 1, Division 4 Champion in the SHW Class, while freshman Jeremiah Reyes achieved the same honor in the 132lb Class. Their competition is scheduled for Saturday morning at 8:30 AM at the Taylor Expo Center in Abilene. #WeAreSundownStrong

Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Association Academic All-State Congratulations to our 2 seniors that made the THSWPA Academic All-State Team! Emily Rodgers was selected to the Elite Academic All-State team in Powerlifting. Roxy Mendoza was selected for the 2nd Team Academic All-State team in Powerlifting

Girls Regional Powerlifters 2025 To say “I’m proud of these girls” is an understatement! They have worked hard for two months to come into Eldorado and move more weight than they knew they could. They fought with determination and tenacity. What’s more is they did it all with character, sportsmanship, and a will to try when others said “You can’t!” I am thrilled with the manner they competed (and managed). But I am more proud of the way they picked each other up, gave a pat on the back, and went right back to work. The future is bright for these young ladies! Athletic Booster Club Message

Here's a few changes to the softball and baseball schedules: The Softball game vs Morton has been moved from Thursday to Wednesday at 12 noon. Baseball will flip their home/away games vs New Home. We will play New Home here Saturday and will be on the road next Tuesday.

Roughnecks and Roughettes compete at home today! Softball is switching things up a bit and the JV will play 1st at 11:00 and the varsity will follow. Boys start at 11:00 as well. Come out and support the kids today!
