Middle School Apollo Trip The Sundown Middle School Trip has been a great experience! We spent Thursday enjoying a number of team building activities with our “Francis” at Group Dynamix! We were so proud of so many of our students for stepping out of their comfort zone and trying things that “scare them”. Heights are not for everyone, but the opportunity to choose to do something that scares you has been an amazing experience for so many of our students. We arrived late to the hotel and enjoyed some down time and cold pizza to finish off the night! Friday was spent touring the Modern Art Museum and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth appreciating works from Michelangelo, Donatello (not to be confused with the Ninja Turtles), Pablo Picasso, Monet, Rembrandt, Jackson Pollard & Kaws! Lunch at the Fort Worth Stockyards brought May showers reserved for April, and students enjoyed a good rain for a meal at Shake Shack. The night ended cheering on the valiant Blue Knight at Medieval Times where students enjoyed some camaraderie and a great show! Saturday was spent at the Renaissance Festival as the trip came to an end. We are grateful to our School Board for investing in our students and to the parents of our students for entrusting their children with Mrs. Ashley Bufe and Mrs. Kari Rodgers for a great weekend in the DFW Area!
