REMINDER... Sundown Middle School 6th Grade Orientation! TODAY - Thursday, August 3rd @ 9:30 AM in the Auditorium This 6th Grade Orientation is for Students Only! This will give them a chance to get to know their Principal, and have an opportunity to get to know their new campus and new classrooms! Auditorium doors will open at 9:15 AM, and students will be released at 11:30 AM in front of the Middle School.

Maintenance/Transportation job opening - Sundown ISD is seeking a qualified and motivated maintenance worker with the primary responsibility being the maintenance of vehicles and district transportation. Duties will also include the maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, grounds, and landscaping. Must reside, or be willing to reside, in Sundown ISD. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. ROUGHNECK BAND FIREWORKS STAND It’s time again for the Roughneck Band Fireworks Stand! We are open starting today, June 30th through the 4th of July. The stand is located just north of Kenco on HWY 303 heading North out of town on Slaughter. This is a fundraiser for our next band trip, and we are grateful to our students, parents and band sponsors for their time and effort into making this a success!! Come out and support our Band Program!

Weight Room Facility User Agreement Form. Starting August 1st, 2023 the facility weight room will require your access card to gain entry. You will need to complete the Weight Room User Agreement Form to update your current Facility Access Card to add Weight Room Use. https://sisd-link.us/WeightRoom Once the agreement is completed, you will use your Facility Access Card to enter the Facility as well as enter the Weight Room. Our goal is to keep the Weight Room free of unsupervised children. The Facility Access Card will continue to allow entrance into the facility, but this is a separate program to allow the Facility Access Card entry into the Weight Room.
