Teacher Appreciation Week was celebrated last week... but we want to take this time to recognize a special group of educators... our Coaches! Our Sundown ISD Coaches have been a huge blessing to so many of our students this past school year! They are more than a Coach... They are a mentor, a counselor, an encourager, a disciplinarian, a mother-figure, a father-figure, a motivator... they are so many things for so many of our students! They work countless hours, oftentimes sacrificing their own time and finances to set our students up for success! We are blessed with some of the best in the business, and we wanted to take this time to honor them. In fact, it is very common for a coach to join the profession of education because they too were inspired and motivated by a coach they had in their life! It is the gift that keeps on giving... the gift of love. Our Coaches love our kids... so again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for spending your time and your effort with our students... with our children! Our coaches change lives!
