With the recent wildfire in the Texas Panhandle, Sundown Middle School Teachers Kaitlyn Jones, Toni Garcia, Tiffany Wylie, and Kari Rodgers felt moved to start a Service Project for both students at SMS and the Sundown Community. One of our core values at Sundown ISD is to “LOVE OTHERS”, so it is time to show our love and support to our fellow Texans in need. What has now become the largest fire in the history of the State of Texas, there are many families in need. We are going to accept donations at the Sundown Middle School Office starting Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8th. All donations will be taken to Borger, TX to be distributed to those in need. Here is a list of items we are seeking.
Tylenol/Advil (smoke inhalation/throat/headaches), Cough medicine (smoke inhalation), Neosporin, Bandaids, Eye drops, Chapstick, Toilet paper, Paper towels, Masks, Work/Rubber gloves, Flashlights, Batteries, Toiletries (travel size), Shampoo/conditioner, Diapers, Wipes
Wash Cloths, Towels, Blankets, Deodorant, Feminine products, Comb, Brush, Soap (face/body), Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Contact solution, Contact cases, Sunscreen, Hair ties, Hairdryer (used/new), Hair Straightener (used/new).
Donations will be taken to the Dome Civic and Convention Center in Borger, TX

Thank you for continuing to step up to help us serve during this critical time of need. We have Sundown Heart… and the time has come to serve.
