The Pride of the Oil Patch has qualified to compete in the Finals at the Area Marching Contest! They recently competed at 1:15 this afternoon and have qualified for the finals and a chance to go to State! The top 10 Bands will have an opportunity to compete for a spot to advance to the State Marching Contest! Sundown will perform this evening at 7:45 PM!

The Pride of the Oil Patch Sundown Roughneck Band will head to Amarillo for Area Marching Contest on Saturday!
We leave at 8:45 am. Sundown VFD & Sundown PD will lead us out of town. Please come out and show your support for these amazing kids!

Roughnecks score their 3rd TD of the 1st quarter! Caleb Clausen runs it in from the 6. A 3rd conversion failed, but it's 18-0 Sundown over Post with 1:47 left in the 3rd.
12-0 Roughnecks!! Branson Sanders recovered the kick off and then Rickey Melendez runs into the endzone from 18 yards out!! 9:19 to play in the 1st.
Roughnecks get on the board quickly! Rickey Melendez gets us great field position with a great kick off return. He then busted the first run of the game for over 40 yards to the 5 and Caleb Clausen punched in the TD! XP kick was no good. With 10:47 left in the 1st quarter Sundown leads Post 6-0.
